For this collaboration, Stewpendous Productions wanted a game that felt familiar, playful, and unmistakably Chicago.
Together, we created a custom lotería inspired by the traditional Mexican game, while giving it a modern twist. The set features updated, colorful watercolor illustrations that feel lively and contemporary, while still honoring the structure and spirit of classic lotería.
To make the game truly local and meaningful, we incorporated iconic Chicago imagery, including:
The Bean – a modern city landmark
The Sears Tower – a symbol of Chicago’s skyline
Jean Baptiste Point du Sable – honoring Chicago’s founder
The Chicago Hot Dog – a local favorite
Each card was designed to spark recognition, laughter, and conversation, perfect for live trivia nights and social settings.
Designed for Live Events and Community Play
This custom lotería was designed with bars, live events, and group entertainment in mind. It’s playful, easy to jump into, and works beautifully as an engaging activity alongside trivia and game nights.
In 2026, Stewpendous Productions will feature this custom lotería at Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar in Lincolnwood, Illinois, bringing together food, drinks, trivia, and community through play.
